EWMA 2025 Conference: Innovations in Wound Care Presented in Spain

The EWMA 2025 Conference, held March 26-28 in Barcelona, Spain, brought together experts from around the world to discuss the latest advances in wound care. The event, organized by the European Wound Management Association (EWMA), highlighted technological innovations, new therapeutic approaches and cutting-edge research into wound care.

The conference also saw the participation of GNEPUAP (National Group for the Study and Prevention of Pressure Ulcers), which presented its research and initiatives to improve the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. The collaboration between EWMA and GNEPUAP was one of the highlights of the event, reinforcing the importance of joint efforts to make progress in the area.

Among the scientific productions presented at the conference, the research carried out with nursing professionals Marcelo Mendes and Camila Mendonça, in partnership with Prodiet, was highlighted and selected for oral presentation.

This study was carried out in a case series format, involving 8 patients with different types of injury who were supplemented with two sachets of CORRECTMax for 2 months, resulting in rapid progress in the healing processes.

The partial results of the study were presented by researcher Dr. Camila Mendonça.
