From June 10 to 12, 2026, the Frei Caneca venue in São Paulo hosted GANEPÃO 2026, considered the largest nutrition conference in Latin America. Under the theme“The Future of Nutrition: Science, Real Life, Technology, and a Revolution in Care,”the event brought together professionals, researchers, and experts to discuss the advances, challenges, and trends that are transforming nutritional practice in various healthcare settings.
Over the course of the three-day conference, topics of great relevance to clinical nutrition were discussed, including care for critically ill, oncology, and surgical patients, as well as updates on diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, the use of GLP-1 analogs, the gut microbiota, artificial intelligence, and new technologies applied to nutritional care. The discussions underscored the importance of an increasingly individualized, evidence-based approach that is grounded in the realities of clinical practice.
Prodiet’s presence at GANEPÃO 2026 reaffirmed the company’s commitment to science, innovation, and the development of nutritional solutions for various care settings. Studies were presented on the nutritional management of enteroatmospheric fistulas, pressure ulcer healing, fortification of homemade enteral diets, supplementation during chemotherapy in patients with colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with Crohn’s disease, control of diarrhea during cancer treatment, intestinal dysbiosis, and the use of an enteral formula containing 100% plant-based protein in institutionalized elderly patients.
