From June 11 to 13, 2025, Ganepão 2025, considered the largest nutrition congress in Latin America, took place at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in São Paulo. This traditional event annually brings together thousands of health professionals, researchers, academics and specialists from various regions of Brazil and abroad, with the aim of promoting the advancement of scientific knowledge and the exchange of experiences in the field of nutrition.
The central theme of the 2025 edition was NUTRITION 360 degrees, highlighting the innovations and transformations needed to keep up with the rapid changes in today's world. This comprehensive approach to nutritional care highlights the importance of considering the individual as a whole, from the different stages of life to the various health conditions that can affect their well-being. The concept involves a broad and complete view that integrates not only traditional clinical aspects, but also social, cultural and environmental factors, reflecting the complexity of contemporary nutritional needs and the role of nutrition in promoting global health.
We were present at this highly relevant meeting, which brought together more than 4,000 registrants and featured an intense program of more than 400 lectures, round tables, workshops and symposia. The environment was conducive to continuous learning, the strengthening of professional networks and scientific updating, which are essential for improving clinical practices and developing new nutritional solutions. The topics covered were varied and current, including oncology, intestinal microbiota, healthy weight loss, preservation and recovery of muscle mass, nutritional support for critically ill patients, sustainability in nutrition and innovation in clinical practices.
In this scenario of intense knowledge exchange, Prodiet had the honor of presenting seven scientific papers that demonstrated the applicability and benefits of our products in different clinical contexts, reaffirming our commitment to science and innovation. The studies presented were conducted by dedicated professionals, whose studies reinforce the importance of specialized nutrition in comprehensive patient care.
Nutritionists Marcília Fabri Woidello, Marcella Campos Lima da Luz and Giovana Martins Nascimento presented three studies carried out with specialized Immax supplementation in cancer patients. Improvements in nutritional status were observed, with weight gain, increased arm circumference and muscle strength. There was also a reduction in symptoms such as nausea, fatigue and gastrointestinal disorders. Supplementation contributed to achieving nutritional goals, reducing the risk of sarcopenia and improving functionality, reinforcing its role in supporting cancer treatment.
Nutritionist Marcela also presented a study on the use of the Trophic EP hypercaloric diet associated with the Enterfiber and Enterfiber Prebiotic fiber modules according to the clinical condition, observing an improvement in nutritional status and constipation with the use of the mixed fiber module and, later, an improvement in chemotherapy-related diarrhea with the use of the soluble fiber module.
Two case reports were also presented by nutritionist Yamara Teixeira Martins Rangel and nutrition student Amanda Duarte de Souza and a case report by nurse Neuza Ramos Cirilo Ferreira Diniz with excellent results from the use of Correctmax to stimulate wound healing.
